Coach Reno Davenport has spent the past 22 years teaching tennis, 4 years pickleball and holds a Professional certification with the RSPA, RPO, PTR/PPR and Professional certification with the USPTA. He has many years of coaching in racquet sports including tennis, racquet ball, squash, paddleball, and pickleball. His clinics and lessons draw on his extensive competition experience along with his coaching certifications from RPO, USPTA, PTR, PPR, and USPTA. From the moment I first hit a pickleball in the driveway of friend’s home in Irvine, I was done for. I knew that Pickleball was going to be MY sport. It was not only the immense satisfaction of making solid contact with the ball that brought me joy, it was the sound it made when contact occured. The rush of adrenaline that washed over me each time I hit the ball was exhilarating. That same evening, I went on Amazon and ordered not one, but four pickleball paddles. I was determined to play, and play I did! I convinced everyone in my orbit to try it and when they did, they, too, fell in love. That’s why I’m here - to spread the love for pickleball; because the truth is, everyone deserves to be in love.

This is Roger Lee.  I am a PPR certified coach and teaching pro at Crow Canyon Country Club where I lead the pickleball programming organizing clinics and skills and drills workshops, and pickleball social activities. Because there is such a large demand for training, I also lead the “Train the Trainer” sessions to teach new coaches.  I grew up playing tennis through high school and college, played racquetball competitively afterwards, but have really enjoyed playing and teaching Pickleball. I promote pickleball everywhere I go across the US, and in countries that have never seen a pickleball like parts of Uganda and Kenya.  With eight years of coaching experience and a National Medalist title, I'm dedicated to helping you excel in pickleball. I’m certified to teach Pickleball and have taught at Paragon Pickleball, Lafayette Tennis Club, and Roundhill Country Club. With over 4,000 hours dedicated to the sport and a 5.4 DUPR rating from more than 250 matches recorded, I bring extensive experience and expertise to my coaching.
