About your baseball coach
I had the privilege of playing baseball for 18 years and have recently begun the transition from player to coach. I played 4 years of college baseball and have over 1 year of experience providing young players lessons in pitching, hitting and fielding. My coaching style involves ensuring players find the love for the game and developing the individual themselves.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWith beginners I first like to ask them some questions about their knowledge of the game. Then we can begin with basic fundamentals of throwing and catching and swinging off a tee.
Lesson 4-10In these lessons, players will work on throwing mechanics more extensively. This will include arm path and glove side drills. With hitting, players will learn drills to practice at home and hitting games will be included to encourage enthusiasm.
Lesson 2-3A beginner will continue to work on throwing and catching, however we will go more into depth into the basic fastball grip and how to receive the baseball in the glove properly. With hitting, players can expect o see front toss to work on timing.
What you need to bringPlayers should bring gloves, bats, helmets, cleats and whatever else is deemed necessary prior to lesson.
