Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDuring the first lesson we will talk about what positions you want to play while doing stretches and warm ups then after a light practice we go over what positions you will excel in. We’ll spend a good amount of time throwing and catching. At the end of practice we’ll go over what you exercises you will need to start doing before the next practice.
Lesson 11+Once you have a good base line for your skills we’ll hone them until you’re ready to move on to the next level of coaching. These practices will be our most intense as we work to fill our time with conditioning and training.
Lesson 4-10These are the practices we focus on tuning skills for the positions you’ll eventually be playing. During the 4th and 5th practices we’ll start working on batting. These practices will grow in intensity as you hone your game.
Lesson 2-3During these practices we will start conditioning and working the fundamentals of fielding. You’ll start getting a feel for field awareness and your muscles will be sore as you start using them more.
What you need to bringYou will need your glove, athletic attire and your bat.
Please have both cleats and practice shoes.
What I can bringI will bring Practice Bases, spare gloves and balls.
