Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBased on the information given to me by the player I will spend the first lesson going over what each individual wants to gain by doing lessons. (Example- Control, speed, different pitches, hitting etc.). I will then evaluate what skill level the player is and build drills and a plan from there. I will explain the β€˜why’ in everything I do so that the player will fully understand the reason for doing each drill or move. We end each lesson with a recap and an expectation of working on what we’ve practiced in order to continue to advance our knowledge and skills.
Lesson 11+By this time we will be working toward in game approaches., both physical and mental. We will discuss each session and identify the areas that need more work as well as those that are coming together and helping achieve the success desired. We will run through drills and routines that will put the player into game like situations and let them use the skills and knowledge gained to this point to make adjustments and redirect outcomes. By this time the player should have good understanding of their strengths and weaknesses in order to self evaluate and make the necessary adjustments on the fly as if they were in a real game situation.
Lesson 4-10During these lessons I should see a progression of skill set and be able to stress my detailed mechanical awareness to help the player understand how to achieve their desired results and what to do should they be in a spot where they are not consistently achieving their goals. Repetition, attention to detail, understanding the proper mechanics ha I an and how they affect the ability to be consistent and always the mental development of the ball player, dealing with success and failure of the game.
Lesson 2-3In subsequent lessons the player will go through the drills executed during the first lesson and I will help to build a consistency in the proper mechanics in order to achieve the desired goal. I will build additional skills and information as we progress through lessons and drills always talking about not just proper mechanics but also the mental side of the game and the preparation for achieving success in baseball.

What you need to bringBaseball glove, proper attire and shoes (tennis shoes and or cleats (if we are outside) Hand towel

What I can bringI will have baseballs and necessary equipment for the lesson
