About your baseball coach
I have taught baseball independently for the last few years, as well as playing it since childhood up to high school, and in intramural leagues since. I am a firm believer that without the true understanding of the basic fundamentals- fielding, throwing, hitting, and the general rules of the game - then anyone can play baseball and enjoy it.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI would first see if the student can throw a baseball, and then that would be the focus. During that time I would see why the student wants to play baseball, get to know them more, and to teach general baseball knowledge. End the lesson with hitting.
Lesson 11+Fielding at different positions, hitting, and improving areas which could be improved
Lesson 4-10Catching fly balls, and begin focusing on hitting and base running.
Lesson 2-3Throwing a baseball is necessary in baseball so the lesson would start with that. While throwing, I would incorporate ground balls and basic fielding. End the lesson with hitting.
