For over three decades, I've been instilling a love for baseball in players of all ages. My passion lies in cultivating a strong foundation of skills while fostering a fun and encouraging learning environment. Let's work together to elevate your game. I’ve played two years of minor league baseball. I’ve coached for 10 years at the college and high school level. I’ve started a developmental league for inner city kids n north and northeast Portland.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBuilding the relationship is important for the first time. Defense and hitting. Learning to play catch and throwing properly. Basic hitting instruction.
Lesson 11+Constantly creating a consistent routine to maintain mastery of skills because once one does t use it they loose it.
Lesson 4-10Revisiting the fundamentals and adding more advanced techniques to solidify the fundamentals
Lesson 2-3Scaffolding on the first lesson that will turn into a progression to mastery. Reps and more reps. The more one does the right techniques the better they will approach mastery.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonObserving where they are in their skills and then progress on refining them.
Lesson 11+Practice, practice, and practice to always have the skills acquired as second nature during their games or team practices.
Lesson 4-10Consistent mastery of the fundamentals and challenging the student by working on their weaknesses.
Lesson 2-3Building on the skills they have and talk about mindset and approaches to the game. A mental understanding on how to apply the physical skills.
