About your baseball coach

With 18 years of playing experience, I've designed my coaching style to cultivate not just skills, but also a genuine love for the game of baseball. With experience at the Juco and Division 1 level, I’ve worked with and played against some of the best. I’ve failed and succeeded in different situations, and now use what I’ve learn to lead the next generation of players both physically and mentally. I believe every player is different, so your training will be individualized and designed to each players needs. Let's work together and elevate your game to the next level. I am now in my second season at the University of West Georgia where I oversee the pitching staff.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAt first I like to see how my athletes naturally move. So, typically I’ll have them go through a warm up to see how they move. Then we’ll start to throw and go through different types of athletic throws to see what your mechanics look like. We’ll set specific goals for you to strive for.
Lesson 11+We will change the objective and continue to evaluate your strides. By this time, we should know if the plan is working and if you’re actually getting better.
Lesson 4-10By this time, we’ll start introducing newer movements based on how you’ve progressed. You will start to get in your routine and start making more improvements.
Lesson 2-3Based on what I see in your movements and throwing mechanics, I will create a specific plan to help your movement patterns. Your plan will be based on achieving your specific goals. So, we’ll have a set routine based on how you’re moving and where you’re at in your career.
What you need to bringGlove, training shoes, and cleats. Anything extra you want to bring is up to you.
What I can bringI have bands, baseballs, pitching target, foam roller, and different training equipment for warm ups. I also have equipment for arm care and agility.
