Over the past 8 years, I’ve received professional-level catcher training, refining advanced defensive skills, game-calling, and field leadership. Your first lesson- Go over basic catching do’s and don’ts - Simple drills to assess skill level and identify strengths and weaknesses - Create a game plan for future lessons
Lesson 11+- More in depth on situational moments - Understand how the game works (umpires, pitchers, fielders, etc.) - Continue education on all aspects of the game
Lesson 4-10- Start working on player specific techniques and mastering them - Focus on leadership on the field and how to control situations - Perfect the simple things so we can move forward to the complex
