Beginner training plan
Your first lesson* Introduction and Assessment: I'll start by getting to know the student, their experience (if any), and their goals. Then, I'll do a basic assessment of their current skills in throwing, catching, and hitting to see where they're at.
* Fundamentals: We'll cover the very basics – proper grip, stance, and throwing motion. I'll focus on building a solid foundation.
* Simple Drills: We'll do some easy drills to practice the fundamentals, keeping it fun and engaging.
* Goal Setting: We'll set some realistic goals for the next few lessons.
Lesson 11+* Game-Like Scenarios: We'll focus on game-like scenarios to help them develop their decision-making skills.
* Advanced Skills: We'll work on advanced skills such as baserunning, sliding, and more specialized fielding techniques.
* Personalized Training: I'll tailor the lessons to their specific needs and goals, whether it's preparing for tryouts or just improving their overall game.

What you need to bringIdeally, students should bring their own glove, bat, and helmet if they have them, for a better fit and feel. Wearing appropriate athletic shoes and comfortable clothing is also a good idea.
