About your baseball coach

I'm a college pitcher based in Dallas taking a gap year. I work with pitchers ant any age level, but I also can help position players with throwing mechanics and arm care. My style is direct and low-pressure. I'm not going to overhaul a delivery that's working, and I'd rather you own one adjustment than half-remember five. My schedule is completely open because of the gap year.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI’d ask for goals, any questions, concerns, if they are in season or in the offseason, and what they normally do to throw. I’d then warmup and play catch for a while and give small tips throughout catch play.
Lesson 2-3I’d make a plan from our conversation and then give drills, homework, and training advice on how we can accomplish those goals. Then I’d integrate those things into the lesson.
Lesson 4-10I’d make sure that the advice is tracking and staying consistent, and I’d continue to introduce new things after the previous task is consistent.
Lesson 11+Depending on the athlete’s goals, we’d hopefully have made great progress towards those goals and then I could introduce more intermediate to advanced drills, tips, and programs.

What you need to bringYour baseball mitt, a baseball hat, and whatever warmup equipment you usually use. Cleats are optional.

What I can bringBaseballs, j bands, plyo balls, massage gun, lacrosse ball. softball, and a foam roller.

Nick
Paul worked with me over the course of 2 years. I went from throwing 75 to 85+. He clearly has helped me substantially. He helped me with my mechanics, diet, weightlifting, recovery, and sleep. 10/10 would recommend
Alex
I had surgery on my throwing arm, and needed someone to help me with rehab. Paul was great and helped me come back stronger from my injury than I was before. I was also pain free.
JT
Paul helped me a lot with pitching and throwing. I went from a JV player my junior year to a big contributor my senior year on Varisty. I learned two new pitches that were really good and my velocity went up 6 mph. I’d definitely recommend Paul!
Joey
Paul was my teammate and he took time out of his day to work with me, even though he had his own commitments. He helped me with my pitching mechanics, my flexibility, and how I hold my pitches. I wouldn’t be where I am now without Paul.
Griffan
I never played baseball before, and so I reached out to Paul for his help. After a couple sessions, I had improved a crazy amount and could throw a baseball better than I ever thought I could.
