Andrew Glass
Coach Zach is an outstanding personal baseball coach who not only understands the game, but also understands how to make it accessible for pre-teens.  My son, who is now 9, has been working with Coach Zach for about 2 years.  Coach Zach re-worked his “long” swing into a tighter, more efficient swing, and it has really paid off.  He also worked with my son on his pitching mechanics and his fielding form.  Everything Coach Zach has taught him has resulted in my son getting exceedingly better on the field.  And my son always has a good time, even when Coach Zach pushes him to go beyond my son’s own expectations. Most importantly, Coach Zach uses a quiet, positive approach that also helped build my son’s confidence in himself.
Cyrus Simon
My son Cyrus has had and continues to have the privilege to work with Coach Zach with his team and one on one. Zach’s knowledge and expertise of the game is top notch having been pro himself. But it’s his nature that impresses most. Cool, calm and collected! My son’s fundamental skill set has improved greatly and so has his understanding of the game. But best of is that Cyrus’s love of baseball has only grown under Coach Zach’s tutelage and for that I’m grateful.

We’ve been working with Coach Zach for over a year, and it’s been a great experience. He has a calm, soft-spoken demeanor while maintaining high expectations, and he has a special way with the kids—knowing exactly how far he can push them to help them improve. My son looks forward to every lesson and continues to grow and improve each day. -Robert Benvenisti
Landon Miller
Zach is a fabulous coach who is incredible with kids. Whether it’s hitting, fielding, or pitching practice, our son learns and has fun at the same time. Thank you Zach!
Mik Hoodbhoy
We met coach zach as part of wilshire warriors and quickly transitioned to one-on-one coaching given his baseball IQ, coaching technique and overall warm personality. Above all, what makes coach zach a great coach for my 9 year old is the fact that he genuinely cares about the kids he coaches. Winning matters but he values effort and attitude above everything else. What better lesson can we give our kids than this at this young age. Also, his coaching style is not “one size fits all”. He tailors how he coaches based on the kids personality. My son looks at coach zach as his role model and coach never lets him down!!!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe start with a full swing assessment to understand who you are as a hitter, how your body moves, and what your strengths already are. You’ll leave with 1–2 clear focus points and a simple plan to begin building consistency right away.
Lesson 11+At this stage, the swing is built and trusted. Lessons become more about fine-tuning, competing, and maintaining confidence while making small adjustments as needed.
Lesson 4-10This is where real growth happens. We continue to refine mechanics, adjust to game-speed swings, and work through different pitch types and situations while stacking confidence and consistency over time.
Lesson 2-3We clean up the foundation by reinforcing the early changes and dialing in feel vs. real. This phase is about creating confidence, eliminating confusion, and building repeatable habits through intentional drills.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonComplete swing and movement assessment focused on efficiency, sequencing, and ball flight. We identify strengths, one primary constraint, and set a clear performance goal with specific drill work.
Lesson 11+Maintenance, refinement, and competition focus. Lessons become about small adjustments, scouting tendencies, confidence, and staying locked into a trusted process throughout the season.
Lesson 4-10Training shifts toward game-speed execution and adaptability. We layer in pitch types, locations, velocity, and situational hitting while reinforcing approach, adjustability, and mental consistency.
Lesson 2-3We attack the main constraint and begin syncing mechanics with timing and intent. Emphasis is on feel vs. real, swing decisions, and creating a repeatable move under controlled speed.

Youth players
Working with kidsMy goal is to make baseball fun & build confidence. I have high energy and make sure to highlight good things as we work on the things that could be better.

Working with teenagersMy goal is to develop skills, confidence and ownership. Make sure to over explain the why behind changes or drills we’re doing. Balance encouragement with honesty.
