Cham, You've always been Someone who was willing to expand our portfolios when it Came to basketball, but You were also a fun interactive person to have as a coach. You see and believe in us on and off the court and as growing individuals. Thank you so much!!

Working with Coach Cham has really helped me improve my shot. Before, I struggled with consistency and confidence, but after training with him, I’ve been making a lot more shots. He broke down my form, gave me specific adjustments, and made everything simple to understand. Now I feel confident every time I shoot, and my results show it. I’m more consistent than ever I can honestly say my shot has never felt this good!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first session is all about building comfort and confidence! • Warm-up & Agility – fun footwork drills with cones and ladders. • Ball Handling Basics – stationary dribbling (pound dribbles, crossover, behind-the-back). • Form Shooting – working close to the basket to lock in proper shooting mechanics. • Confidence Boost – finish with a fun game or challenge so players leave encouraged and motivated.
Lesson 11+At this stage, we transition from fundamentals to competitive growth. • Game Situations – decision-making under pressure (when to pass, shoot, or drive). • Conditioning & Endurance – fun challenges to build stamina. • Personalized Focus – tailoring drills to the player’s strengths and areas for growth. • Leadership & Confidence – encouraging players to communicate and think like a team leader on the court.
Lesson 4-10This is where progress really shows. • Advanced Ball Handling – combo moves (crossover + spin, hesitation dribble). • Shooting Development – catch-and-shoot, free throws, and moving shots. • Defense Fundamentals – defensive stance, slides, and closeouts. • 1-on-1 Play – applying skills in game-like situations to build confidence under pressure.
Lesson 2-3Now we start building a foundation. • Dribbling on the Move – zig-zag cone dribbling with both hands. • Passing Skills – chest pass, bounce pass, and partner target drills. • Finishing at the Rim – basic layup footwork from both sides. • Game Awareness – introduction to spacing and how to “see the floor.”

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first session focuses on identifying strengths and areas to improve. • Skill Assessment – ball-handling under pressure, shooting form, finishing, and defensive footwork. • Advanced Drills Introduction – combo dribble moves into finishes, catch-and-shoot under time limits. • Baseline Conditioning Test – agility ladder, shuttle runs, and reaction drills. • Goal Setting – setting personal performance goals with the player.
Lesson 11+Position-Specific Training • Guards – pick-and-roll reads, creating space, deep range shooting. • Wings – attacking closeouts, pull-up game, defensive versatility. • Posts – low-post scoring, pick-and-roll defense, outlet passing. • Film Study & Breakdown – teaching players to analyze their own play. • Leadership & Mental Edge – confidence in clutch moments, communication on the floor. • College/Club Prep – simulating game environments with conditioning + pressure.
Lesson 4-10 Game-Speed Drills – full-speed transition finishing, pull-up jumpers in rhythm. • Advanced Footwork – jab-step series, pivot counters, and post moves (if applicable). • Decision-Making – 2-on-1 and 3-on-2 drills to develop court vision. • Conditioning with Skills – shooting after sprints, dribble moves into explosive finishes. • Small-Sided Games – 1v1,
Lesson 2-3Ball Handling Under Pressure – two-ball dribbling, resistance band dribbles, and live defensive pressure. • Shooting Reps – shooting off screens, step-backs, and quick release drills. • Finishing Variety – euro-step, spin finishes, floater package. • Defensive IQ – anticipation drills, defending pick-and-rolls.

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids, my main focus is on making basketball fun while teaching fundamentals. I keep drills engaging, age-appropriate, and full of energy so young players stay excited and motivated. Sessions include: • Simple ball-handling and footwork drills turned into fun challenges or games • Positive reinforcement to build confidence and love for the game • Emphasis on teamwork, listening skills, and good sportsmanship • Shorter, more frequent activities to match attention spans My goal is to make sure kids leave each lesson smiling, learning, and eager to come back.

Working with teenagersWith teens, I shift toward skill development, confidence, and preparing for higher levels of play. Sessions are more structured and game-like, with emphasis on: • Advanced fundamentals: shooting form, ball-handling under pressure, finishing moves • Game IQ: decision-making, spacing, and understanding different roles on the court • Physical and mental growth: conditioning, leadership, and building resilience • Position-specific skills (guards, wings, posts) depending on their goals For teens aiming to play in school, club, or beyond, I tailor training to challenge them, build discipline, and help them compete with confidence.

What you need to bringTo make the most out of each lesson, I recommend bringing: • Athletic shoes (basketball shoes if possible) • Comfortable athletic clothing • A water bottle • A personal basketball (optional great for practicing at home, but I’ll have extras if needed) • Most importantly, a learner’s mentality ready to work hard, have fun, and grow each session

What I can bringDon’t worry if you don’t have all the equipment yet I’ll provide what’s needed for a great session, including: • Basketballs (both youth and official sizes) • Cones and agility ladders for footwork and speed drills • Resistance bands and other tools to build strength and coordination
