“Coach Jimmy has been working with my child 1–2 times a week for over a year, and it’s been an amazing experience. He has a unique ability to make every session fun while teaching new skills, so it never feels repetitive. My child always looks forward to practice because Coach Jimmy keeps things exciting and engaging. What really stands out is that he can coach multiple sports—basketball, football, and baseball—which keeps our kids motivated and constantly improving. Finding a coach who truly connects with your child makes all the difference, and that’s exactly what Coach Jimmy does!”

“What really stood out to me was how well Coach Jimmy communicated. I always knew what my son was learning, where he was growing, and he would check in with parents to see if there is anything specific we needed to work on. He came home after almost every class excited to show me something new—things I hadn’t even thought of teaching her at this age. His mix of fun, structure, and connection is rare and really refreshing.”

“Coach Jimmy makes practice fun but also makes you better without even realizing it. He talks to you like a real person, not just a kid. I used to not like drills, but with him, they’re actually fun. I even started teaching my little brother some stuff Coach Jimmy showed me. He gets you—and that makes him a great coach.”
Nicole
“It’s hard to keep a 5-year-old focused, but Coach Jimmy did it! He made everything feel like a game while teaching important fundamentals. Our daughter never wanted to leave the court. He took the time to talk to us after every session, and really understood how to make young kids fall in love with sports. We could tell he genuinely cares.”
Theo
“Coach Jimmy is really funny and makes the games fun! He shows us cool tricks and tells stories that make everyone laugh. I learned how to do a layup the right way and didn’t even know I was doing drills because it felt like a game.”

Youth players
Working with kidsWith younger players, the key is to make learning fun and engaging. I use games, imagination, and even a little silliness to keep them moving and excited about the sport. At the same time, I introduce the basics of discipline, focus, and teamwork in a way that makes sense for their age. The goal is to build confidence, coordination, and a genuine love for the game.

Working with teenagersTeenagers are in a unique phase where they’re learning to take sports more seriously. For this group, I shift my approach to be more focused, structured, and goal-driven. I help them understand what coaches at the next level are really looking for—effort, attitude, fundamentals, and how they carry themselves on and off the court. We work on developing the skills that help them stand out during tryouts while staying grounded and humble.
