Your first lessonThe first lesson we will be going over your goals and establishing a baseline of skill and skill development. In other words, let’s see the current distance between your goals, where you are in that process and what the best ways of learning are for yourself! 30-60 minutes depending, will be different per person.
Lesson 2-3Here is where we start the working. We will go over skills and routines that can be done with a trainer or by yourself. We will begin to narrow down the grand motor skills to the fine motor skills. Whilst this is happening we will begin to start seeing scenarios where we can begin to implement those skills.
Through lessons 2-3 the main goal is to make you comfortable within yourself with basketball both in and out of your hands through lens’ you already have.
Lesson 4-10In lessons 4-10, is where we are going to start seeing the athletic identity in the sport come through, if you are a former athlete you will probably already have a strong idea as to what that may be, but now we use it to our advantage. We will hone your athletic identities into the skills and situations we have seen so far and start creating realistic in game drills that will require you to begin the drill with one skill and react accordingly to the need of another skill.
This is the point in the puzzle where you’ve made the border and now you can start see everything put together.
Lesson 11+We have your goals, Your athletic identity as well as what you excel at. Now we focus on making you a well rounded of a player. We do drills that exclusively or partially recognize the areas of needed improvement whilst still maintaining growth in the areas you do improve with.
