Beginner training plan
Your first lessonTeach the basics, dribbling, then dribbling with you head up, then dribbling on the move, learning shooting mechanics, then shooting at the rim, working on layups right under the hoop
Lesson 11+Combining the ball handling me learned into combo moves (in n out crawsover, double crawsover, etc.), more complex moves to the rim (spin move into a lay up, a “euro” step in a layup, etc.), implementing a floater, depending on age possibly going on to shooting 3 pointers
Lesson 4-10Expanding ball handling into some between the legs and behind the backs, move into some reverse layups, making a move at a cone and finishing at the basket or shooting a jumpshot, teaching go to moves to score in a game.
Lesson 2-3Possibly move onto some dribble moves like in n outs and crawsover, warm up the same but move into moving layups and moving our jumpshot farther away from the hoop
