About your basketball coach

With three decades dedicated to basketball, I cultivate skill and passion in every student. My coaching focuses on fundamentals and strategic thinking, fostering a positive and challenging environment. Let's elevate your game together! I'm Coach Mike Breaux. My training program provides professional individual basketball training to youth, beginners, and anyone who wants to train as Division 1, NBA, and WNBA players and prospects do! The basics and fundamentals of basketball are best exploited through situations in practice, the game, or scrimmage. Giving drills that enhance fundamentals while learning to recognize different situations individually in game play is being taught to youths across the globe! Balance, footwork, dribbling and shooting are essential and the focus in my training. The Mission: To ensure that all who choose to play basketball have the fair opportunity to be taught the fundamentals and strategies of the game and how to incorporate proven skills and techniques to enable them to perform to their full potential.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe 1st lesson is an assessment session. Performing certain dribbling drills, shooting drills, and fundamentals will create an area focus
Lesson 11+Manipulation of the 3pt line, combos and counters are expected at this stage
Lesson 4-10The 4th through 10 would go up levels in training from basic to beginner, and all the way up to advanced level. Shooting, and passing off the dribble. Reading screens, counter moves, and separation moves on an advanced level are expected.
Lesson 2-3The following lessons will be based on the area of focus. Dribbling for instance would include basic drills and situations to ensure proper footwork and cadence of the dribble until achieved
Youth players
Working with kidsI have games that produce skills and keep the game interesting and fun. It keeps them engaged.
Working with teenagersTeenagers are great to work with and I love to push these players at this age to be aggressive in workouts and how it will separate them from their peers.
