About your basketball coach
I’ve been playing basketball for 20 years. I have coached and trained for 4th-9th grade and all skill levels. I love basketball and I love coaching! I believe that anyone can grow in basketball skill with the right combination of practice and confidence. You will never doubt whether or not I believe in you! Whether it is someone who is just looking to play with their friends or someone looking to take their game to a new level, I love the challenge and the process. I look forward to working together and finding the right process for you.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is all about gathering information on you as a player. We will first chat about your goals, strengths, and experience. Then we will run through some basic drills to see where I can help you to grow.
Lesson 4-10We keep pushing! Every lesson will follow a similar structure including warm up, free throws, specific to you drills, and cool down. We’ll have fun and work hard.
Lesson 2-3This is where the real work begins. I will come prepared with a plan that uses the knowledge gained from last lesson. We will work on specific drills which elevate your skills at your pace.

Youth players
Working with kidsBeing a kid is where I found my love for basketball. I love bringing that out in others as well. Being a kid and learning basketball should be about fun and building a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the sport.
Working with teenagersI know the pressures of high school basketball. It’s a big step for any young athlete. In my teenage years, I lost some of the love I once had for basketball. I hope to help teens to continue their love of basketball. I try to focus training with teens around what is being asked of them for their teams. We will build work within the structure of their role in the team currently, as well as what they hope it can become.
