Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWith a beginner, I’ll definitely start with how to dribble the ball, having control over the ball, looking up while dribbling the ball, helping them understand basic violations like double dribble, pivot on one foot etc
Lesson 11+The rest will be just moving one step ahead of each fundamental skill. Normal pounds will become cross, between, behind and so forth. Right hand layups with addition to left hand layups, going bit advance each time the players show improvement
Lesson 4-10Now we do basic defensive stances. How to play proper defense without committing fouls.
Lesson 2-32 and 3 will be more about correct shooting form, and how to do proper lay ups. A bit of defense.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWith advance players, their workouts depend upon what position they play, what are their strengths and weaknesses. I would start with some advance workouts like, shooting off catch, dribbling, and screens for shooters, advanced finishing techniques for slashers like veer finish, hooks, floaters etc.
Lesson 11+More advance footwork, in game scenarios, conditioning.
