Beginner training plan
Lesson 11+
Lesson 2-3

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonFirstly, I would want to get feedback about what kinds of skills one wants to work on in general and moving forward. Starting with light stretching and then some length of the court jogging/running to warm up before anything. First thing in the first lesson is to go over fundamentals/rules such as the triple threat (shot, pass, dribble option, jab step, staying on/not lifting your pivot foot, etc.), passing (bounce and chest passes), shot range/scoring skills, dribbling and defensive slides. We will then continue with some solo dribbling the length of the floor, passing on the move, and dribbling into passing to warm up as well. After that we would work on shooting close to the basket with set shots, dribble into, and passed into layups using the backboard on each side to assess form. Looking for about 5 in a row on each side using the backboard to warm up at that distance. After that we would work on more shooting to assess range moving to the free throw, mid range and 3 point areas. We can finish with defensive slides from side to side and on ball guarding. We can end on any fun game of choice (horse, knockout, free throw shooting contest, one on one, etc.) This is a feel out session to evaluate where we are at.
Lesson 11+After warming up a similar way in the prior lessons, such as some full court conditioning, running from baseline to baseline, passing and dribbling, we can work on some specific 1 on 1 actions involving skilled dribble moves (between the legs, behind the back, crossovers, etc.) hesitations, pump fakes, step backs, etc. To finish we can use cones to work on moving into shots and adding what was worked on before followed by playing some one on one applying these actions. We can end with a preferred activity as well.
Lesson 4-10In these later sessions we can work on advanced dribble actions (one, two and three dribble pull ups, etc.) and shoot with more volume in a wider variety of spots on the court. We can also start to implement some cone drills simulating going around defenders or screens moving around in different angles into a shot after a pass. After that some defensive work against me testing posture/form/technique (staying low, sliding, etc.). We could also play some one on one bring it all together and end with any fun game of choice to finish as well.
Lesson 2-3Second and third lessons would involve some more running, passing and dribbling drills to warm up. After that we would work on some more distance shooting at the center and sides of the court (free throws, mid ranges, side shot areas, 3 pointers, etc) to further assess comfortable range. More defensive work focusing on slides, and close outs on shot attempts. We could end the session with any fun game or activity of choice (knockout, free throw shooting contest, etc.) We can also play a little 1 on 1 as well, whatever is preferred. Finally Some stretching before its over.
