I have a 7 year old son and asked Roddy if he would take the time to teach him how to box because my son was being picked on in school he gladly met with my son and taught him what he could in the time we had. I was more impressed with how he spoke with my son teaching him about bullies and how to talk your way out of a fight if possible the few things Roddy taught my son really did help him. Roddy pointed out to him how a bully only picks on others they know will not fight back and just standing up to them can end the threat and he was so right. My son stood up to his bully taking a boxing stance and throwing a few punches ( shadow boxing) the bully saw this and wanted no part of my son he not only taught him a few things about how to box but more importantly he gave my son a very important lesson in life I can’t say enough about Roddy my family is very fond of him

My name is Joshua I am a 12 yr old and met Roddy because my mom met him in the supermarket and my mom told me about him and going to teach me how to do boxing I really like him he is a very good boxer and he made me laugh when he was showing me how to throw a punch the right way because I’m being picked on and my mom is worried about me Roddy told me bully’s are cowards and really do not want to fight my mom set it up so he comes over 2 times a week to teach me how to protect myself he is so good at boxing and I feel better about myself
