About your drum coach
I am a senior at Berklee College of Music with over 300+ performance and stage hours. I have taught at various different local music schools and tutoring services since 2019 and I will make it my goal to make sure all students of mine get the fundamental knowledge and skill set they need to become a successful drummer! I will be available for lessons starting January 21, 2025! I look forward to meeting and working with all of you!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn our first lesson we learn about the different parts of the drum set as well as developing a basic beat! We also will learn a warm up routine that will begin each lesson!
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2-3 continue building on the basic beat learned in lesson 1 and involves applying the basic beat to a song of the student’s choice
Lesson 4-10Later lessons involve learning more different drum beats that build off the basic beat learned in lesson 1 and applying those new beats to different songs that the student chooses
Lesson 11+Later lessons will be more oriented towards what the student wants to learn while still applying concepts from previous lessons
Youth players
Working with kidsHow I work with kids is somewhat dependent on their current skill level. I often use a lot of my beginner student concepts with kids since they are easier to understand and catch on to
Working with teenagersWhen working with teenagers, I often orient lessons towards how and what they want to learn or work on. This is also dependent on their skill level.
