About your english coach

Teaching has been in my bloodline for at least three generations and I feel honored to carry the torch onward as a language instructor. I attended the American School of Rio de Janeiro, where education was bilingual and subjects were taught in both Portuguese and English. I’ve taught ESL for over 20 years, from Boston, MA to Denver, CO and I hope to provide an unforgettable educational experience to people from all over the world.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAdvanced students are usually confident students who want to demonstrate their speaking abilities. Beginning the lesson with some topics to gauge out their skills is key.
Lesson 2-3When students are already at an advanced skill level, I find that pronunciation becomes almost overlooked. Patterns that were never fixed before become repeating mistakes unless students can consciously make an effort to stop those pronunciation errors. Coaching in pronunciation is key for advanced students looking to fix old habits.
Lesson 4-10To be more relaxed with the atmosphere of the class and the teacher to the point of being comfortable expressing and challenging themselves in the language they are learning.
Lesson 11+To hopefully enjoy the lessons and the further learning possibilities that come with consistency and determination when learning and maintaining a new language/ability.
What you need to bringStudents need only something they can take notes with, such as a paper notebook or computer/laptop.
What I can bringI have been compiling materials from 20+ years of teaching. I do possess plenty of updated materials that deal with current events and whatever is needed to tailor the student’s needs.
