• Goals: Understand RB role, 2-point stance, ball security basics
• Drills: 2-point stance starts, hand-off ball security walk-throughs

• Goals: Retain ball under pressure
• Drills: Gauntlet (live speed), tug-of-war football drill, low-to-high squeeze

Keep drills fast-paced and competitive to maintain energy and interest, while reinforcing key skills like ball security, footwork, and field awareness. Incorporate feedback loops—ask questions, give specific praise, and correct form constructively. Above all, connect drills to real-game scenarios so players understand the “why” behind the work, helping them stay motivated and confident as they develop.
What you need to bringStudents should bring their cleats, a bottle of water, and they can bring their own football if they like.
