About your football coach

Football has been a huge part of my life— I am a Columbus native and was a three-year starter at West Virginia State University, where I served as team captain and earned WV State Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2019. After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching, working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for seven NCAA athletic teams at WV State. I also served as a defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator for Dayton, Ohio. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique, strength, or football IQ, I’m here to help you take your game to the next level. I hold a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and a teaching license in the state of Ohio. Let’s get to work!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonDepends on age and position. For younger players I believe in developing the whole football player. Starting with footwork, learning how to distribute power in any direction, and building up the athlete as a whole. For older players we can focus more on specific position drills while also a focus on injury prevention.
Youth players
Working with kidsThe main goal with younger athletes is keeping them excited about the game of football. I currently teach as a profession and understand the importance of keeping them engaged and excited at all times.
Working with teenagersEvery session will be individualized. Every player is different and my goal is to meet them where they are at, and help them acquire the tools they need to be successful in football with their teams.
