Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson you will learn how to stretch, warming up and how to prepare the body for the sport in which you will train. We will go through footwork, drills and end with a nice cool down segment.
Lesson 11+In lessons 11+ we will continue working different drills, improve speed and strength as well as train our body and minds to withstand the seasons ahead.
Lesson 4-10In lessons 4-5 we should now be looking more comfortable and fluent previous movements. We will slowly start to speed up the footwork and drills from previous sessions as well as incorporate any type of strength training if this is something the client would like. By sessions 6-8 we are using the ladder and agility cones and we focus on incorporating our sport into our drills. At this time we should see improvements and will not incorporate more drills at a faster rate to ensure we are working different parts of our body and the sport at hand. By lesson 10 the client is able to perform the basic warm up. The coach will now start to work on implementing knowledge of the game, skills and tools from his experience to help the athlete in order to help the athlete reach their full potential.
Lesson 2-3In the 2nd and 3rd lesson we will continue transitioning with footwork and agility drills. We will focus on sharpening things we’ve worked on in previous sessions then continue to incorporate more of the sport into your session.
