About your football coach

I bring over 15 years of football experience, from elite high school competition to collegiate play, and have dedicated my life to mastering the game and mentoring young athletes. I played for Kahuku High School in Hawaii, a program renowned for producing NFL talent, where I developed the discipline, work ethic, and competitive edge that shaped my football journey. Following high school, I competed at a top 5 junior college program, where I was recognized as one of the top 25 recruited safeties in the nation, earning a Division 1-level scholarship and receiving advanced training through elite programs such as DB Tech, under the guidance of Asai Gilman. During this time, I had the opportunity to play alongside long-time friend Alohi Gilman, now a professional athlete with the Baltimore Ravens. Although a cardiac arrest cut my playing career short, my passion for football never wavered. I am now focused on giving back to the next generation, using my experience to mentor, train, and inspire young athletes both on and off the field. My mission is to help kids develop not only their athletic skills but also the leadership, discipline, and resilience required to succeed in football and in life.

training with john has been one of the best experiences i’ve had with a trainer for football. he helped me put on the weight i needed and build real muscle that actually shows up on the field. my speed, agility, and overall confidence have gone way up since working with him. every workout feels like it has a purpose, and he always pushes me in the right way. but the biggest thing is the life lessons he teaches while we train, discipline, mindset, and how to handle challenges on and off the field. john isn’t just someone who helped me with my training, he’s someone who actually cares about you becoming better in every way.

Before training with Coach Ofa, I didn’t really understand leverage or how to read routes. After just a few sessions, everything started to click. His drills are challenging but fun, and he actually explains why we do each one. Highly recommend for beginners or advanced players.

Coach Ofa breaks the game down in a way that’s easy to understand but still pushes you like a real athlete. My footwork, confidence, and technique have all improved fast. He doesn’t just train you — he teaches you how to play smarter. Best DB coach I’ve worked with
Jayden Giles
Coach John was always great at developing players. Always provided 1 on 1 coaching during practice or after. Improved my confidence as a player and made me a smarter football player.
