About your football coach
With over 14 years devoted to both playing and coaching football, I've honed a keen eye for developing talent and fostering a love for the game. I played Quarterback and Free Safety in multiple schemes from an Option and Pro Style offense to a Spread/Air Raid. I have a unique insight and ability to develop players overall or in specific areas. My approach blends strategic insight with a commitment to personalized player growth. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’re going to establish a foundation and build confidence. This will be done through warm-ups and basic drills.
Lesson 11+Now that we’re running, you can expect to begin learning more advanced techniques and aspects of the game at your position.
Lesson 4-10Here you can expect to develop fundamentals and progress your skill base. We will tailor it to your specific needs and focal points.
Lesson 2-3We will continue working on the foundation and begin implementing specific drills and agility work.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe will start by looking at your current fundamentals and creating specific goals and areas of development.
Lesson 11+If not presented earlier we may begin to incorporate film study and classroom style activity. You can also expect combine style drills and activities.
Lesson 4-10This timeframe will be targeted toward advanced aspects of the game, such as coverages/concepts and hot reads(offense & defense), route running, pursuit angles etc.
Lesson 2-3With a foundation set, you can expect a targeted approach to your goals that will be tailored to your position. We will also begin working on agility and performance.
Youth players
Working with kidsI believe it is extremely important to develop a foundation to build on and develop a love for the game at these ages. We will incorporate fun activities to help create that connection.
Working with teenagersWhen working with more experienced athletes, I will tailor the training for their specific areas of training or goals.
What you need to bringBring appropriate footwear and ideally a ball that is age/size appropriate. If unable, we can coordinate something to work with prior to the lessons. Also bring a water source of your choice.
What I can bringI will be bringing an adult sized ball as well as any applicable equipment targeted for that training session. If applicable I will also seek out age appropriate equipment, if coordinated beforehand.
