Coach Stu helped me so much with my footwork while running routes, it was definitely money well spent. If you care about the fundamentals of football, this is your coach!!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFOUNDATION & EVALUATION Goal: Build trust, assess basics, and make them excited to come back. How to Approach It This is not a grind session. It’s an introduction to how to train. Structure (60–75 minutes) 1. Warm-Up (10 min) • Dynamic stretches (hips, ankles, shoulders) • Light jog + high knees, butt kicks, arm circles 2. Evaluation (20 min) You’re silently gathering data: • QB: grip, stance, balance, release • WR: stance, footwork, hand-eye coordination 3. Teaching Core Basics (20 min) Only 1–2 key coaching points per position. 4. Fun Competitive Finish (10–15 min) End with success.
Lesson 4-10DEVELOPMENT PHASE Goal: Build consistency, speed, and confidence under pressure. This is where players separate themselves. ⸻ Structure • Warm-up (10 min) • Position-specific skill work (30 min) • QB/WR connection drills (20 min) • Competitive/pressure drill (10–15 min) ⸻ QB Development Drills • Pocket Movement Drill • Cones simulate pressure • Slide, reset, throw • Progression Throws • 2–3 reads (even imaginary) • Teach eyes and patience • Accuracy Ladder • 5 throws each at increasing distance ⸻ WR Development Drills • Release Drills • Speed release vs. hesitation • Focus on first 3 steps • High-Point Drill • Jump and catch at highest point • Sideline Awareness • Toe-tap catches near boundary ⸻ QB + WR Combo Drills • Timing Routes • Ball thrown before break • Broken Play Drill • WR adjusts, QB keeps eyes downfield
Lesson 2-3SKILL INTRODUCTION Goal: Introduce movement, rhythm, and repetition. Now they know what practice feels like. ⸻ Structure • Warm-up (10 min) • Technique work (25 min) • Movement + timing (20 min) • Competitive drill (10 min) ⸻ QB Focus • Footwork + throwing on the move • Short accuracy Favorite Drills • 3-Step Drop & Throw • No rush, slow tempo • Emphasize balance and reset • Target Net / Cone Throws • 10–15 yard throws • Accuracy over velocity Coaching cue: “Feet set, eyes up, finish high.” ⸻ WR Focus • Route basics • Catching in stride Favorite Drills • Route Tree Lite • Slant, out, go • Walk-through → jog → run • Diamond Catch Drill • Hands form a diamond for chest throws Coaching cue: “Eyes first, hands second, tuck third.”
