About your football coach

Terrell Reynolds – Quarterback Coach / Offensive Coordinator Terrell Reynolds has been immersed in football since the age of five, developing a lifelong passion for the quarterback position. A standout at Taylor High School (TX), Reynolds graduated in 2016 as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards and total offensive yards, achievements he built from his sophomore through senior seasons. After high school, Reynolds continued his career at the junior-college level, playing quarterback for Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, Oklahoma. He later took snaps as quarterback for the Maricopa Mustangs of Arizona’s junior-college league, further sharpening his understanding of offensive schemes and quarterback mechanics. Transitioning into coaching, Reynolds has served as a student assistant and offensive coordinator at Taylor High School, mentoring the next generation of quarterbacks—including current starter Johnny Guzman and up-and-coming signal-caller Caleb Pachicano .

Johnny Guzman
First of all I just wanna say Terrell is a great guy in general he really reads who you are as person and finds a way to work with you as him being a trainer. Watching Terrells old highlights really gave me motivation to keep going and to not give up, he always had different ideas on working on mechanics and hip rotation and the main part was making sure we would warm up perfect before we start throwing. Working with Terrell was so simple and easy it was never rocket science when Terrell was telling you something. He would give you a drill to do and he would let you know what it helps with. I’m gonna continue to work with Terrell because if you need someone to help you go big it’s gonna be him.

I met Terrell when I was in 8th grade having sessions outside with my now teammate and QB competition at Taylor Highschool. Terrell for me is a mentor and kind of like an older sibling. We always got along, we’re always laughing but also got a lot of work done in terms of fundamentals and mechanical strength. Great strength drills and warmup drills I even still do as a junior in highschool before any type of throwing sessions.
