About your golf coach
With over 19 years of golf experience including working with PGA certified coaches, being a member of the Southern Ohio Junior PGA Tour, and a nationals qualifying golfer with the Under Armour Junior Tour I have a wealth of knowledge to share with students to help them expand their game and start shooting lower scores.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is to assess where the student is at currently. A true beginner may begin with how to properly grip the club and start getting a feel for the swing, while a more intermediate player may start with working on better contact or changing the path and plane of the swing.
Lesson 11+After the lessons on building the golf swing we will maintain that swing while improving areas that may still be an issue. This is also where more advanced shots like escape shots, bunker shots, and shot shaping will all come in to play. This is also where we may discuss taking a playing lesson to work on course management and think about different scenarios we may find ourselves in on the golf course.
Lesson 4-10These lessons we start to move to full swings with irons, woods, and drivers. We use the fundamental techniques used in the other lessons to advance those techniques and build the swing backwards. This is also where the ideas of how to play the game of golf come up and are discussed.
Lesson 2-3In these lessons we start with the short game. Putting, chipping, pitching from 40 yards and in. This is a way to work on the fundamentals of a golf swing while working our way up to a full swing. If we start with little swings we can pinpoint problem areas faster and then progress to a full swing where there will be less issues making it easier to work on and improve.
