Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson, after discussing and setting a goal for what you expect to gain from these lessons, we will get you familiar with the basics of golf, the rules, etiquette, and essential equipment. We will cover the fundamentals of the grip, stance, and basic swings. All lessons will end with developing a few techniques and drills that can be practiced at home in between lessons that emphasize and reinforce what has been taught to that point.
Lesson 2-3Next we will build on your initial skills and refine your grip, stance, and swing mechanics. We will also introduce you to chipping and putting to establish a well rounded foundation for your short game.
Lesson 4-10Now, we will focus more on shot accuracy and distance control, practicing with different clubs. We will work on developing a practice routine to enhance your consistency and confidence.
Lesson 11+Finally, we will apply your skills with a guided practice session. These lessons will have you apply what you’ve learned to real-game scenarios. We will also introduce you to more advanced techniques like bunker shots, approach shots, and short game strategies. You will be provided with personalized feedback that will help you achieve your golfing goals, whether you want to learn the game for a hobby, leisure activity, social golf, or for competitive play.
