About your golf coach

I love helping other people fall in love with the game of golf and improve with simple catered adjustments. Hitting the shot you planned for is the most rewarding feeling in golf, but it can be so frustrating when starting out. My goal is to help players, new or seasoned, young or old, get better and more consistent with their golf game. I’m a former college golfer with 15+ years playing the game, constantly trying to improve my own game as well as assist others with their unique swing. Let’s improve your game together!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst start off with a brief assessment of your golf swing at the driving range; give specific direction utilizing simple drills that can be done with minimal equipment. I always emphasize on posture, weight transfer, swing path and grip for beginning golfers to help them start hitting the ball up in the air.
Lesson 4-10As your golf swing starts to feel more comfortable and you’re hitting the ball up and straighter, then we would continue to reinforce everything learned so far but introduce: getting out of the bunker, high and low shots, recognizing swing errors, course management.
Lesson 2-3The second and third lesson would have chipping, pitching and putting, and less driving range practice than the first lesson. We would introduce some more easily repeatable short game drills so that you are able to practice on your own without it being a chore. Short game shots are often like mini-golf swings so it’s a good way to refine the things learned from the previous lesson(s).
