Full disclosure I am his little brother and he’s making me do this since he taught me golf. I never had interest in golf even to this day, but from every time I’ve been forced to go to the range(since I was a baby) he’s taught me what he calls “the swing he wish he had.” Although I never got into golf competitively, I am glad that I can hit a ball almost 300 yards when I go to the driving range with my friends. I’m always the best one when we go to TopGolf.

I’ve taken a few lessons with Jacob now and my swing has only improved. What I liked most is he helped me understand how to generate more power in my golf swing, which is something I’ve been wanting to improve on as an 51 year old golfer, and also how to get it out without putting strain on my body. He does a great job dumbing down concepts for someone like me to understand i.e. making analogies to other sports and for me that helps a lot since I did not grow up playing golf.

Youth players

Working with kidsThe only difference I would incorporate with kids would just to make sure my students are enjoying their time on the course. Ultimately, the only way they will want to keep at it is if they learn to find their own love for the game.

Working with teenagersI was a teenager just a few years ago, and any chance I get, I just want to teach everything I wish I knew when I was a junior golfer. And ultimately really to teach them that they are capable of taking their golf game to the next level.
