About your golf coach
Golf has been a part of my life for more than 3 decades. As an avid junior golfer, I won a club championship, made all conference my sophomore - senior year in high school. I was a part of 2 regional championship teams as well as an 11th place and 7th place finish in high school state championships. From a young age it’s been my passion. Now that I’m in corporate America being able to use my talents to help win numerous charity benefits and raise money for many great causes has been more than fulfilling. I’ve seen the game evolve from wooden drivers and shot shaping course management to now teeing it high and letting it fly. One of the best benefits about golf is not only can you enjoy the game your entire life but you can find satisfaction in the game no matter your skill level. So if you're just a beginner looking to dip your toes in the water, or if you’ve been playing golf for a long time and feel like you’ve plateaued and you’ll never get better, or maybe you're just tired of letting your buddies get in your wallet. Whatever the skill level, whatever the reason, I want to help you achieve the satisfaction and enjoyment that golf has to offer.

Jamey is a good person and teacher. He picked apart my swing and show me little things here and there are correct some mistakes. Very technical teaching, showed me what I have to do to continue improving and replicating a nice swing. Very excited to see what he showed me on the course. Will continue working with him.

I especially enjoyed focusing on improving my iron shots with Jamey. He identified key swing issues and helped me make solid, more consistent contact. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBottom Line Up Front: I don’t try and teach you a golf swing, instead I teach you how to improve your golf swing. I have found through my years of experience that there is no one perfect swing. Everyone has their own swing and if we can improve that, then two things happen right off the bat::
1 - the student sees results much faster
2- students tend to get allot more enjoyment out of the game.
With that being said typically the first lesson includes me taking a look at your swing, asking you what your goals are with the lesson(s) and working on some basic fundamentals like grip, ball positioning, alignment etc.
Lesson 11+These will be our most advanced lessons where we discuss course management, identifying the best places to miss shots, what flags to shoot at (green flags) and what flags not to shoot at (red flags), how to play what the course gives you and get the most out of every round. After all golf is 10% physical and 90% mental 🙂
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4-10 are practice lessons. These include identifying key areas that need the most attention and implementing drills to reinforce good habits. These lessons also include helping you identify your mistakes so you can make corrections to fix the issues.
Lesson 2-3Lesson(s) 2 - 3 includes short game fundamentals., learning how to hit pitch shots, chipping and putting. The quickest way to lower your score is by turning 3 shots into 2 (learning how to get up and down from around the green). How to practice with a purpose and being intentional with your efforts.
Youth players
Working with kidsI love working with kids! I have a 9 year old son that LOVES the game. Kids still have the passion to have fun!! We as adults sometimes forget that’s why we play golf in the first place. My lesson plan for kids includes playing and teaching them skill games that improve basic fundamentals while still keeping practicing fun.
Working with teenagersWorking with teenagers can be very rewarding. Golf is more than just a game, it teaches us patience, integrity respect, how to win and also how to loose. All of which you carry with you for the rest of your life. This is the age when everything that you’ve learned starts to click. I try and implement good practice habits, how to be intentional with their efforts and how to get the most out of each round or practice session.
