About your golf coach

I’ve been playing golf for 17 years. In 2017 I decided to pursue my passion in golf by enrolling into the Professional Golfers Career College. I earned my associates degree in country club management by December of 2018. My favorite part of golf is sharing the game with others. I worked as an Assistant Pro in the golf industry for 5 years and I would like to get back to teaching golf regularly.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to focus mostly on sharing the knowledge of the swing. The how and why of the swing. By the end of the lesson we would start looking at what athletic level they are on.
Lesson 2-3This is when we start really looking at what they are capable of. Everybody has different limitations and if you try to learn something outside of those limitations, it can be detrimental to your overall enjoyment of the game.
Lesson 4-10As we progress through each lesson we will build the swing brick by brick. Never advancing to the next step until the previous step is fully understood.
Lesson 11+This is the time to maybe start doing some course management and really looking at how to play the game instead of how to swing the club.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonDo a short analysis of their game and what they feel is missing. Video the swing and try to identify what could be causing the issues.
Lesson 2-3Dive deep into issues and make small adjustments as needed. Major adjustments can lead to bad things and may be detrimental to the enjoyment of the game.
Lesson 4-10By now we should have a plan laid out and a goal clearly defined. During these lessons we would take the steps and track the results.
Lesson 11+Get on the course and see how the principals from the past lessons are translating to real world in game situations.
