About Blaise

Save ~$10-15 per lesson with me by not having to purchase golf balls at the range! Hi there, I'm Blaise! A seasoned golfer carrying a scratch handicap, and a tech entrepreneur by profession. My lifelong affair with the game has not only allowed me to master the nuances of golf but also share my knowledge with budding golfers. Over the years, I've honed my teaching skills having given well over 5,000 detailed lessons. My approach to teaching golf revolves around nailing the basics first, and then progressively moving onto the more intricate details of the game that fit your natural swing. As a former multi-sport athlete, I like to find a students natural athleticism and teach a swing that revolves around what works best for the student. Golf is hard to learn on your own. Many aspects of the game are counterintuitive and often times up means down, right means left...etc. I'll help you skip years of frustration trying to learn these concepts, and get you hitting the ball better than you thought possible. So, let's get started on this exciting journey, gradually improving your game from the fundamentals to the finer strokes, while having a blast. I teach out of a private golf simulator in Redwood City. If you're not familiar with a simulator, it's high end technology that captures every metric of both the ball and club. In my opinion, the golf simulator is the best way to work on your golf swing because you get so much more data than just hitting balls at the range. The simulator also includes a high speed camera that shows the club hitting the ball frame by frame. But mostly, it's just really cool and a lot of fun!

About Megumi

I’ve been golfing for over 30 years and as I grew older I’ve learned to maximize what I have. I’m 5’6” and though I consider myself an athlete, I do believe a good swing can be achieved by good fundamentals and what I call positioning. By ingraining certain aspects of a swing, we can continue to improve by doing. I’m just a low-handicap golfer who want to teach average golfers good fundamentals as a takeaway, so you can start to improve on your own. I’m not a teaching professional, but I was a design instructor at an art school for over 17 years, I hope I can make improving your golf game fun.

About Thomas

**GREAT STUDENTS MAKE GREAT COACHES** For the past 20 years, I have been coaching and instructing many of the top golfers in Solano County. I firmly believe that "great players make great coaches." Here are some of my esteemed references: Aaron Beverly: Aaron has competed on the PGA, APGA, and Canadian Tours. During his time at Sac State, he broke numerous records and has won on the APGA Tour. He holds several course records, including a 59 at Rancho Murieta. Easton Hether: Class of 2026 at Cal State East Bay, Easton has already secured first-place finishes in tournaments and was named the 2023 Conference Freshman of the Year; 2025 CSEB Athlete of the Year; 2026 Career Athlete Award Anthony Del Dotto: A Class A PGA Professional and graduate of PGA/PGM New Mexico State, where he was a Jones Cup Champion. Mark Mills: Operations Manager at Jelly Belly. Mark improved from shooting over 100 to breaking 90 in just months through dedication to my 'Five Keys Method.' Although I now coach part-time, I have spent the past 20 years coaching and instructing for The City of Fairfield, Holy Spirit Middle School, and most recently, the Vacaville High Bulldogs. More than 10 of my students have gone on to play at the college level. But one of my proudest accomplishments is every junior player I have coached that went on to play in high school made their varsity squad as freshmen. Throughout these two decades, I have developed "The Five Keys" method of rapid learning. While I have specialized in instructing juniors with aspirations to play at the highest level, this method is designed for players who cannot dedicate hours each day to practice. The Five Keys Method focuses on accelerating progress without requiring extensive practice time. The Five Keys has consistently proven its effectiveness over the years, and I take great satisfaction in helping golfers achieve their personal goals, whatever they may be.

What students say...

"Tom has been coaching my son for a few years, his knowledge and expertise is evident at every practice and tournament. We are thankful for your coaching skills, our athlete has grown tremendously with you by his side.

About Sean

Fueled by a lifelong dedication to golf, I bring 30 years of experience to helping players elevate their game. I've coached children from the ages of 4-18. I coached a Nike Golf Camp for a number of years at Tilden Park Golf Course where I focused on younger golfers. I've been the head coach at a number of successful high schools throughout the area. I have also taught adults, family, and friends. I offer a unique perspective and my first and most important rule is that we're having fun. If we're not having fun we are in the wrong sport. But with patience and a lot of practice I can promise that your golf game will improve and after hitting a few solid shots you'll become addicted to the game. I'll tailor my lessons to each individual and take the time to ensure that progress is made. My passion lies in fostering a fun and supportive environment where golfers of all levels can thrive. Let's get out there!

What students say...

"Sean is a very skilled coach with deep experience, and it was helpful spending a lesson with someone who has such a strong feel for the game. I’m very new to golf, and he gave me several useful drills and visual metaphors that made certain concepts click for me, especially his β€œpaintbrush” cue for brushing the grass. You can tell a lot of this teaching comes from years of playing and collecting ways to explain the swing which made the lesson interesting and gave me a lot to practice afterwards.

Private golf lessons in Alameda are built around your goals. Whatever you want to improve, a coach can focus each session on it. Here are the areas coaches in Alameda work on most.

Full swing and ball striking

Build a more consistent, powerful swing and flush your irons. Alameda coaches use video and ball-flight feedback to clean up your mechanics.

Short game and putting

Get up and down more often with sharper chipping, pitching, and putting. A coach in Alameda tightens your touch and speed control around the greens.

Driving and distance

Add yards off the tee while finding more fairways. Golf coaches in Alameda work on speed, launch, and a driver swing you can repeat.

Course management and strategy

Lower your scores by playing smarter, not just hitting it better. Alameda coaches teach shot selection, targets, and managing your game hole by hole.

Swing analysis and video review

See exactly what your swing is doing with side-by-side video and data. Golf instructors in Alameda turn the footage into a clear, simple plan to improve.

Golf lessons for kids in Alameda, California

Looking for golf coaching for kids in Alameda? We match kids and teens β€” from first-timers to high-school and club players β€” with coaches who specialize in junior development. Private kids golf lessons run at the same weekly rate as adult lessons.

Golf lessons for kids and teens

Vetted, background-checked golf coaches

Every coach who works with kids goes through identity and background screening before being matched with young students, and their safety vetting is shown on their profile β€” so you can book with confidence.

Every age and level, ages 5 to 18

Coaches in Alameda teach juniors from as young as 5 through high-school and competitive athletes, tailoring each session to your child's age, level, and goals β€” whether that is first-time fundamentals, building confidence, or tryout and team prep.

Parents welcome at every golf lesson

Parents are welcome to stay and watch β€” many do, especially with younger kids β€” but it is never required. Either way, your coach shares progress and what to practice between lessons.

What do coaches say about teaching kids and youth?

L

Coach Larry

golf coach

When coaching young kids, I prioritize making golf fun, active, and approachable. Lessons are built around simple movement patterns, visual cues, and creative games that build coordination and confidence. I introduce core fundamentals like grip, stance, and swing through age-appropriate drills designed to keep energy high and attention focused. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels supported, celebrated, and excited to come back and play again.

I use game technique to teach skills and drills through playing games. I have taught kids camps with golfers of all ages in the past and I have worked with different organizations that have participated in kids golf tournaments.
