Your first lessonThe first lesson at Ingy School of Golf is built around establishing a solid foundation through pre-swing fundamentals. The primary focus is on developing a correct grip, balanced posture, and consistent setup, as these elements directly influence every swing that follows. Players will learn how to hold the club in a neutral, functional position, align their body properly to the target, and create an athletic posture that promotes stability and mobility. Emphasis is placed on simplicity, repeatability, and awareness, ensuring the player understands not just how to set up, but why it matters. By the end of the session, the goal is for the player to feel comfortable and confident in their setup, creating a reliable starting point for all future swing development.
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2 and 3 at Ingy School of Golf continue reinforcing the core pre-swing fundamentals—grip, posture, and setup—while beginning to layer in proper impact alignments and foundational swing mechanics. The focus shifts to understanding what a correct impact position looks and feels like, using that as the anchor for building the motion. Players will work extensively with slow-motion swings and mirror feedback to develop body awareness, sequencing, and club control. This deliberate pace allows for precise movement patterns to be learned correctly from the start, minimizing compensations and building a repeatable, efficient swing based on sound technique rather than timing.
Lesson 4-10Lessons 4 through 10 at Ingy School of Golf are centered on building a fundamentally sound, repeatable golf swing by connecting all prior elements into a cohesive motion. Players continue to refine grip, posture, setup, and impact alignments while learning proper swing sequence—how the body and club work together efficiently from start to finish. There is a strong emphasis on repetition and discipline to solidify movement patterns, with focused work on club path and consistent impact to improve ball flight control. As fundamentals become more stable, players begin to progressively add speed and learn to shape shots, gaining the ability to control trajectory and curvature with intention. The goal through this phase is to develop a reliable, fundamentally correct swing that can hold up under pressure and translate to the golf course.
