I first met Marvin Junior Jr (MJ) over four years ago at a Sants Golf pro shop in Tinley Park, IL.
From our very first lesson together at the George Dunne National Golf Course, MJ patiently introduced me to the fundamentals of golfβcovering everything from the proper grip and posture to understanding the basics of scoring. Even after four years, I continue to learn and grow as a golfer, and Iβve come to appreciate that mastering this game is a lifelong journey.
Perhaps most importantly, MJ gave me real confidence and encouragement to pursue the game. I have never considered myself athletic, nor have I ever really enjoyed sports, but with MJβs guidance, I discovered I am a natural golfer. His patient instruction and positive attitude made me feel capable and supported, instilling in me the belief that I could truly play and even compete.
Thanks to MJ, I now have the confidence to consider joining a womenβs golf leagueβsomething he has often encouraged me to do. Even though I am often one of the few women in what is traditionally a men's sport, MJ has always made me feel welcome and a valued part of the group.
Throughout the years, MJ has taught both experienced golfers and beginners, including youth, consistently demonstrating remarkable patience and dedication. I am truly grateful for his ongoing support and encouragement.

I first met Marvin Junior Jr.βwhom we affectionately call MJβover four years ago at a golf pro shop in Tinley Park, IL. To my surprise, I discovered he had previously worked for my uncle as a tradesman. Since then, MJ has been a great friend and an exceptional golf instructor.
Our initial meeting at the George Dunne National Golf Course involved MJ teaching me the basics of golf, including proper grip, posture, and scoring. Even after four years, I am still in the process of mastering the gameβit truly is an ongoing learning experience.
MJ has been a patient and dedicated instructor throughout the years, consistently taking the time to help me build a strong foundation in golf. Whether weβre meeting on the driving range or playing a round of 9 or 18 holes, he always provides valuable insights and support. Iβve been able to share much of what Iβve learned from MJ with new golfers, passing on his guidance.
MJ has worked with both seasoned golfers and youth, helping them develop their skills with the same commitment and patience heβs shown me. I look forward to the day when I can challenge him to a competitive round of golf.

My wife bought me a set of clubs in which I did not know how to even hold them. A gentleman by the name of Marvin Junior asked me did I know what I was doing I told him no. He began to teach me the fundamentals of a golf swing. After several lessons, I began to feel the difference between a golf swing and a baseball swing. Mr. Junior has stuck with me for years and my greatest accomplishment was a tournament that I was in and I shot 77 one day and 74 the next. Over the years of staying in contact with Mr. Junior my golf game got better and better. I would recommend anyone to at least try him and you will get to see a true professional at work.

Coach MJ is a gifted local golf instructor with the unique ability to analyze a person's golf swing and setup and offer simple and practical suggestions toward helping the student develop a "repeatable swing.
For example, Coach MJ quickly noticed my tendency to swing past parallel. He recommended a simple drill that shortened my back swing and now I'm hitting the sweet spot more consistently. Coach MJ also has proven short game drills and techniques to share with his students.
Having been coached by "the best" local golf instructor in the Chicagoland area these last ten years, I won my senior golf flight in 2023. Breaking 80 is now within reach, thanks to coach Marvin Junior

I was introduced to MJ from a young lady who sets up golf tournaments for corporate events all over the U.S at first I was just looking for some guys to play with because I had just move from San Francisco and I wanted to stay sharp so my intentions was to whoop up on whoever I played but to my surprise that did not happen as of yet. MJ Hit his ball with such pinpoint accuracy, and distance I was truly amazed, we played almost everyday for a week. We played on a variety of courses to the point that I thought it was on purpose, a different terrain different looks different hazard and in all cases he shot extremely low consistent Golf. I was amazed one day he shot 77,76,then 72 another day then it was 71. The next day it was 70 and then he put three rounds in the 60s I said to myself who is this guy T Witty one day even having four birdies on the front four birdies on the back. Iβm still trying to recover, but I will see him again next year but trulοΏΌy he taught me so much, had some health issues and had lost some lust for the game but training with MJ quickly, rekindled my love for the game he showed me his infamous knockdown shot that has brought my scores all the way down and now I have better course management and with no stress on my body Thanks MJ But you know Iβm coming for you!!
