About your golf coach

Hi, I’m Zainab James — a former competitive golfer who believes that great golf starts with a love for the game and a strong foundation. I began playing at nine years old and spent nearly a decade competing professionally, representing Jamaica at the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships three times and playing throughout the Caribbean, the U.S., and Canada. At eighteen, I earned a golf scholarship to Barry University in Miami but chose a different path, joining the U.S. Air Force to continue growing through discipline, service, and leadership. Today, I combine that same focus and commitment with my passion for golf to help players of all levels master the basics and enjoy every moment on the course. My coaching style is patient, encouraging, and centered on helping you build confidence, consistency, and genuine joy in your game.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe’ll start by getting comfortable with the basics — grip, stance, posture, and how to make solid contact. I’ll also walk you through basic golf etiquette and simple drills to build confidence and consistency from day one.
Lesson 11+By now, we’ll be polishing your skills, shaping shots, and building consistency. You’ll learn simple routines for staying relaxed and focused on the course — ready to enjoy the game your way.
Lesson 4-10These sessions focus on improving accuracy, distance, and confidence. We’ll mix in fun drills, different clubs, and basic course strategies so you can start thinking and playing like a golfer.
Lesson 2-3Next, we’ll fine-tune your grip and swing, then move into short game work like chipping and putting. You’ll start to get a feel for distance, control, and rhythm while learning how each club works for you.

Cancellation Policy

We totally understand that life can be unpredictable and plans might change. That's why we've got your back with our flexible cancellation policy, designed to give you peace of mind when booking private sports lessons with our awesome local instructors!

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
