Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe begin by discussing students goals and music interests. Lesson would proceed based on this information and the level of the student
Lesson 11+As mentioned. If the student is ready to progress we continue to introduce new levels skills to improve musicality as well as address specific areas to improve in order for the student to reach there goals
Lesson 4-10Since lessons are tailor made for each student we would continue working out issues the student is having on any aspect of the lessons and then introducing the next skill to work on and eventually master.

How it works
Lesson 2-3
We continue to develop skills needed to achieve goals set in first lesson. I provide all the necessary PDFs and audio to be used for the specific lesson.
Youth players
Working with kidsWith younger students, I recommend beginning with an interactive note reading book to play against online tracks. It's fun for them and most students progress in their note reading abilities much more quickly than without this method. We also spend part of the first lesson discussing what music they like and learn chords and progression based on their interests.
Working with teenagersWe would spend the first few minutes discussing musical interests and if they have any prior experience on the instrument or basic understanding of music theory appropriate for what direction they are hoping to go in musically. We then steer our lessons in that direction, focusing on the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain their goals.
What you need to bringGuitar or bass. Blank music notation notebook
What I can bring My home studio has an amplifier for students as well as a piano. I will provide all the PDFs necessary for the skills to be worked on as well as audio aids.
