About your guitar coach
I've spent over three decades as a professional musician, and the journey has been incredibly rewarding, with 4 albums recorded with my own compositions as well as numerous performances held in Brazil, Spain, France, Israel, USA, as well as sideman work with singers and on instrumental music on diverse genres and styles of music. Now, I'm excited to share my passion and knowledge on acoustic and electric 6 string guitar and 7 string guitar with aspiring guitarists of all levels. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGetting to know students interests and goals as well as introducing myself. Getting to know instrument’s characteristics, how to tune it, important nomenclature on both right and left hand and presenting technical exercises as well as a 1st repertoire choice to already work on whats most important, mysic and joy!
Lesson 11+Being able to play a solo guitar piece, either originated on the guitar’s canon (classical, baroque, romantic) or adapting a modern/folk tune as a guitar solo arrangement.
Lesson 4-10Introducing dominant chords, its variations and applying those on a repertoire which works for student’s level and include those novelties.
Lesson 2-3Making progress showing basic and elementary notions on how to play major and minor chords on any key and bringing that alive with a choice of repertoire, as well as understanding and practicing consistency on rhythm and tempo on the right hand.
