Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGetting comfortable with a guitar, how to hold a pick. Getting your fretting hand used to the neck and strings.
Lesson 11+Continuous practice on the basic understandings and mechanics of grasping different genres or songs depending on the individuals desired interest. Focusing on cleaning up and honing the starting techniques for a solid beginning foundation for learning more and more guitar.
Lesson 4-10Learning basic chord shapes, learning simple independent string lines or melodies. Showing or introducing different staple techniques such as down picking, alternate picking, palm muting and basic notation such as whole half quarter eighth and sixteenth notes and what they each sound like.
Lesson 2-3Learning the names of the strings, what tuning is and how a metronome will help with self practice.
