Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIt’s a get to know each other lesson. Most students get the same handout which has the fundamental things every guitarist should know.
Lesson 11+It usually takes 4-8 months to get through the beginning lessons and 1st method book. If the lessons are progressing then we’ll follow the method series and continue working on songs they want to learn from there.
Lesson 4-10Beginners should be using a method book by this point. I have both tab and note reading books I recommend.
Lesson 2-3More handouts covering various things depending on skill level. My beginners will get certain songs and exercises different from the more advanced players.
What you need to bringElectric or Acoustic guitar and any music they’re working on.
What I can bringMusic Stand, music, tuner. If lessons are at my location I’ll have amps and cables.
