Your first lessonThe first lesson is about getting to know each other. I’ll ask you questions about what kind of music you like, what goals you have, role models, etc. If you have prior experience, I’ll probably ask you to play a little so I can see where you’re at. We’ll develop a lesson plan based on these conversations to best tailor the tutoring to your needs!

Youth players
Working with kidsI’ve worked with kids since the beginning of my career. The key to an enriching learning experience for children lies in retaining their interest and cultivating their relationship with the instrument as much as the skills themselves.
Working with teenagersAs with younger kids, the key to an enriching learning experience for teens lies in cultivating a positive relationship with the instrument. Additionally, this is a good time to place more emphasis on discipline, and in turn learn some valuable self-management skills that go beyond the instrument.
