Beginner training plan
Your first trainingIntroducing mechanics: how to throw- catch- cradle-scoop ground ball
Training 2-3Go over basics again but with more movement. Start to introduce dodges and talk more about lacrosse IQ. Begin shooting on goal introducing different shots.
Training 4-10Start passing and catching on the run while finishing on goal.
Training 11+Specialty training- specific to positioning on the field.
What you need to bringStudents should bring themselves and their drive ready to learn and grow! Also, please bring appropriate shoes, goggles, mouthguard, and stick if they have.
What I can bringI will provide cones, other blocks, and buddies, as well as balls and extra sticks if needed. If needed, I also have a portable crease.
