Your first lessonI’ll assess your current knowledge, experience, skills, dreams, & expectations
Lesson 2-3We will lay a foundation of theory, sight reading, and ear training that meets you right where you are.
Lesson 4-10Building on our foundation, we will work toward your goals, fine-tuning technique, & refining your skills for expression & enjoyment in whatever you play!
Lesson 11+We will develop a balanced mix of review & new repertoire development, improvising skills, sight-reading skills, & composition exercises if desired.
Youth players
Working with kidsI connect with kids in a more playful way & keep it fun with incentives like a prize box & rewards for monthly goals!
Working with teenagersI let teenagers pick more of their music so they are personally invested in what they learn. I also offer $ incentives for hitting high practice goals each month.
What you need to bringBring any music you have already worked on or would like to work on. Bring a 3-ringer binder as well with lined paper in order to preserve my personalized notes for you & other resources to assist your piano journey!
What I can bringI can bring practice sheets, theory sheets, a pencil & potentially music customized to your needs.
