Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGet to know the student and assess their skill level and interest. This will inform how future lessons will be structured.
Lesson 11+Further music will be assigned for the student to learn, improving their understanding of theory, musicality, and technique. *This plan will be altered according to the needs of the individual student.*
Lesson 4-10Song(s) assigned to practice in-lessons and at home (if able). Technique, musicianship, etc. will be taught in-lesson through the context of assigned pieces.
Lesson 2-3Basic exercises assigned (scales, arpeggios, etc.). Beginning technique explained and practiced.
