About your piano teacher

With four decades immersed in the world of piano, I offer expertise honed from years as a classical piano performer and private teacher. My passion lies in nurturing musical talent and guiding students of all levels towards their artistic aspirations. I have been classically trained and can help in learning to read music and Musical Theory. I work with children as young as 8 to adults. My most recent engagement had me in a private school for autistic children where I taught piano basics in a group setting to high school students. I also play keys for my church worship team. Your first lessonThe first lesson is getting to know you and figuring out exactly where to start! Do you have a song you already play? What is it you want to learn? Do you already play a different instrument? This will be a fun assessment as I get to learn how you learn so that I can guide you to be the maestro you are!
Lesson 2-3Brass tacks! —can you read music? We will begin your musical theory education and how you need this in order to play. You will also begin learning to play right out the gate!
Lesson 4-10By this point, not only will you have a grasp on the basics, but you will be able to play TWO HANDED!
Lesson 11+By this point, not only will you be able to read music, but you’ll be able to impress your family and friends by playing pieces everyone knows and wish they can do! You’ll be doing a bit of performance to show off your musical prowess!

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
