How it works
Lesson 11+- Lesson plan and teaching strategy evolves around student’s goals and needs - Learning will always involve playing to make it engaging - Two-ways communication, by asking question (not spoon-feeding method)
Lesson 4-10- Strengthen the knowledge in rhythmic patterns - play a familiar piece(s) in different octaves - to explore more of the keyboard and discovering the sound and characteristic of every octaves - Theory, naming musical alphabet on the keyboard, knowing how to draw notes (crotchet, minim, etc.), able to name musical alphabet in order (going up and down, step and skip) to strengthen the knowledge of the keyboard geographically. - Add more challenging pieces that has the musical elements in order to internalised the knowledge.
Lesson 2-31 Introducing proper hand position, use picture for visualisation (cat paw) 2. Use familiar tune with a set fingering on the music sheets, dynamics and rhythmic pattern 3. Emphasising in using the right hand position to play. By the end of lesson 2&3, students should be familiar with fingering, 2-3 different rhythmic patterns, and know the proper hand position. Some fun activities such as clapping, using ball to get the right hand position, and movement activities to feel the music in the body.

About your piano coach

Music is a journey, and for the past decade, I've been passionately guiding students to find their way to find their passion and master the art of piano playing. My approach combines technical expertise with creative exploration, ensuring a fulfilling and enriching musical experience. As someone who has a deep interest in music education, I believe that every student deserves a curriculum that caters to their goals and needs. In addition to that, the learning has to be fun to keep the student engage! Two-ways communication is also one of the KEY factors to have a successful learning. 1 hour Lesson outline: - Reviewing last week's lesson [5-7 mins] - Do fun activity (card game, fun technical exercise, singing, etc.) [5-10 mins] - Start with lesson plan (practical) [20-30mins] - Theory lesson [10-15 mins] - Review of today's lesson [5 mins] If you/your kids/your nieces nephew/your parents or whoever else is interested in music learning either to pursue it in serious way or leisurely, everything is possible! Whatever goal you are aiming for, it can be taught in a fun way!
