Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to go over basic rules and scoring if needed, for a brief time, otherwise I like to go straight into hitting the balls with guidance based on level of skill. Basics of serving and returning, etc.
Lesson 11+This would mainly involve drills that help with muscle memory and advanced concepts.
Lesson 4-10More in-depth techniques and catering towards what the student should be focusing on based on strengths and weaknesses.
Lesson 2-3These lessons will included fundamentals of court positioning, proper forehand and backhand techniques.
Youth players
Working with kidsI really emphasize the fun aspects of the game and allow the kids to learn while enjoying themselves with little to no pressure.
Working with teenagersA slightly more focused version of teaching kids…a bigger emphasis on technique and fundamentals.
